How To Prepare For Template

  • Decision maker of the project needs to be on site
  • Countertops must be cleared off
  • Cabinets must be completely installed and must be level to within 1/8” over an eight foot run
  • If you are providing your own sink, it must be on site the day of template
  • If you are getting a new stove or cooktop this also must be present day of template
  • It would be helpful to have stone, edge, and sink chosen prior to the template day to receive final pricing
  • A deposit of 50% is required. We accept cash and check on site. If you wish to pay with a credit card, we add 2% fee to the amount charged and you must come to our office to charge the card.
  • Granite is 1 ¼” thick and can have extended overhangs up to 11” provided that the remaining 2/3rds of the countertop is fully supported. Any overhang in excess of 11” will require additional supports that must be installed by the homeowner prior to the installation day.
  • Understand once the templating has been completed, the final measurements and pricing for the job will be confirmed and finalized for the project. If any changes are made after the template is completed, the job must be re-templated and a trip fee will incur.
  • If for some reason we need to return due to not being prepared a $100.00 Trip fee will incur
